Cybercrime Crackdown

In a major breakthrough, Bokaro police have intensified their efforts to tackle cybercrime, resulting in the arrest of 57 individuals involved in various online fraud activities. The crackdown was carried out using advanced digital tools, including the “Pratibimb” application.
Authorities reported that the accused were involved in scams such as online financial fraud, phishing, and identity theft. A total of 15 FIRs have been registered as part of the operation.
Police officials stated that the use of technology has significantly improved their ability to track and apprehend cybercriminals. Public awareness campaigns are also being conducted to educate citizens about online safety and fraud prevention.
The initiative reflects a strong commitment by law enforcement to ensure digital security and protect citizens from cyber threats.
